Drive to Thailand's historic capital, Ayuthaya to explore the fascinating collection of temples. Return to Bangkok for your flight to Chiang Mai. Spend a free day getting to know Thailand's cultural capital, perhaps strolling the Old Town and exploring markets and temples.
The next day, visit the community-based project of Mae Klang Luang Ecotourism Community in Doi Inthanon, and enjoy a jungle trek passing beautiful scenery and waterfalls. Try your hand in the terraced rice fields and meet the local children in the nursery school. Move on to Doi Suthep, and admire the stunning views from its temple. Enjoy a dinner with fellow group members.
